Adam Young, Group CEO

Adam Young - CEO

 

Adam become Group Chief Executive Officer at Conn3ct in January 2021, having formerly been the Group Chief Operating Officer. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, with hands-on experience in sales, customer service and project delivery. As co-founder of two highly successful businesses, Genesis Telecommunication and G3 Communications, he adopted a consistent ethos of working closely with clients to help them apply technology to achieve their growth goals. That same ethos will underpin his direction as Group CEO, seeking to make Conn3ct a long-term advisor to customers on their communications strategy. Before moving into telecommunications, Adam spent 20 years in the world of professional sport and he uses that insight to shape a culture of team working to drive success.

 

Martin Cross, Group CTO

Martin provides the technical lead for the business. Martin joined Connect in 2003 through Connect’s purchase of Rapport Professional Services, a business Martin founded jointly. Rapport provided specialist consultancy services in providing multinational communications technology services. Prior to Rapport, Martin was responsible for Business Development of European Professional & Managed Services in Nortel. Martin brings an infectious enthusiasm for communications technology and extensive knowledge of architecting communications technologies and specialist services.

 

Peter Francis, Group CFO

Peter is a CFO with 30 years’ experience of the technology industry and joined Conn3ct as CFO following the merger of Connect Managed Services and G3 Comms in July 2019. After beginning his career at Arthur Andersen in a big 5 background, Peter has held senior roles for a number of successful telco and technology companies including SoftBrands Europe Limited, Proximity Communications and Maintel. In addition to the remit of the financial direction of Conn3ct, Peter has a strong commercial front office experience and M&A expertise.
